New Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat Update Detail Slips Out

The Sprint Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update is official but it looks like it might not be the only Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update ready to hit users in the United States as we have discovered the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update lurking on Samsung’s website, a sign that it could very well land soon.

Last November, Samsung announced Android 4.4 KitKat, a brand new Android update that emerged from the ashes of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update that rolled out in July. The update, which debuted alongside the Nexus 5, brought incremental changes to Nexus owners last year and it’s starting to do the same with other devices in 2014.

The Galaxy Note 3 could feature an improved camera with a 13MP sensor like the Galaxy S4.

Two of the latest Android 4.4 KitKat updates to emerge are the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat upgrades. The Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat update starting rolling out in January though it remains limited to a few regions. The Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 update landed just a few days ago and it too remains confined to a few places and devices.

Today, the Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update for Sprint was announced and it’s the first Samsung Android 4.4 KitKat update for the U.S. It certainly will not be the last, even if Samsung and its American carriers refuse to divulge specific information.

Two updates that are confirmed to be on the way are the AT&T Galaxy S4 and AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat updates. Both of them leaked out earlier this year. And while we still don’t have a firm date on either update, we are now armed with more evidence that suggests that an AT&T Galaxy S4 update is not only coming but could be coming soon.

Gotta Be Mobile has discovered an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update listing buried deep within the company’s device page. The company lists the Black Mist version of the AT&T Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4 KitKat in two places. Screenshots can be seen above and below.

Interestingly, the red and white versions are both listed with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and no other Galaxy S4, or Galaxy Note 3, on these pages is listed with Android 4.4 KitKat. Not even the Sprint Galaxy S4 which saw its roll out begin today.

This all but confirms an AT&T Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update and in our opinion, it means that a roll out could take place in the near future. Samsung and AT&T typically don’t announce release dates ahead of time so this is about as good as it’s going to get for those who are using Ma Bell’s version of the device.

AT&T’s Galaxy S4 update is expected to mirror the Sprint Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 updates in that it will be incremental. Features are likely to include some of the upgrades from Android 4.4 KitKat itself in addition to changes and enhancements unique to the AT&T model.

Since I started with my online business, I earn $62 every 15 minutes! My best friend has been averaging 11k for months now and he works about 20 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. The potential with this is endless. This is what I do http://www.cashkept.com

Thanks for the input Darios. Very valid points about the kit Kat update. Though I disagree with some of your points, I am also excited about the update.
