HTC M8 Case Leak Shows On Screen Buttons, BlinkFeed, Bezels
The successor for the popular HTC One from 2013, codenamed the HTC M8, will finally be revealed on stage in London and New York City by HTC. With an official date incoming, consumers and potential buyers can expect a slew of leaks and additional details to continue to flow until that date arrives. As usual, the popular leakster @evleaks shared a brand new press photo complete with the HTC One in a custom case.
We’ve seen countless leaks over the past two weeks. Some were most likely fake, and others could be early prototype units, but this press photo should be the real deal. Evleaks has a history of being accurate with his leaks and photos, meaning this is more than likely the real deal.
While this photo doesn’t reveal any new details, and lists the same March 25th date and NYC location on the weather widget, it does give us a few clues. For one it looks like those early leaks were fake, and HTC will indeed be going with on-screen buttons with Android 4.4 KitKat. However, they’ll still retain that ridiculously large bezel on the bottom front, which here shows the HTC logo. Some reports suggest a fingerprint scanner will be there, but we’ll have to wait and see.

This latest photo shows a dark grey or black device, on-screen keys, front facing speakers, the large 5 megapixel front camera, and of course the new Blinkfeed running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
For now we still don’t know all of the details, or what HTC will actually call this M8 handset. So far reports suggest the HTC Two, HTC One Two, or just the HTC One (2014). Expect more details and leaks to surface over the next few weeks as the March 25th release date approaches.
