With less than a month to go before HTC takes the stage in London and NYC to officially announce the All New HTC One smartphone, details and leaks are continuing to pour in from all directions.

Yesterday we received additional pictures of an actual prototype model being used out in the wild, and along with it came new details regarding the camera, but the release date and carrier information is still up in the air. Users can expect a broad launch in the US, but today we may have just received our first clue as to which US carrier will be up first to offer the new smartphone from HTC.

Last year the original HTC One was first available in the US from AT&T, launched in April, and if all reports and leaks end up accurate we could have a similar situation this time around. Just in time to take on the newly revealed Galaxy S5.

Previously we’ve heard the new HTC One would arrive on AT&T and T-Mobile, followed by Sprint and Verizon in the US, and if this latest leak is any signs, that could be the case. Obviously carrier branded versions leaking on Twitter don’t mean it’ll be first, but this is the first carrier branded HTC One, and it’s AT&T.

As a reminder we’re expecting a 5-inch 1080p HD display and Android 4.4 KitKat being powered by the same 2.5 GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor as the Galaxy S5. Rumors suggest 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and finally a micro-SD slot for expanding storage with the new One. There’s a 4-5 front camera to join the 4 UltraPixel camera on the back, and HTC added a third camera (as shown in photo above) for improved low light performance and better post-processing.

HTC has been busy teasing Samsung, claiming the HTC One will One-Up the S5, and we’ll only have a few more weeks of waiting before that’s confirmed. Once again the HTC One will be announced come March 25th and we’ll be there live for all the details.

We’ve yet to receive any official carrier details, which won’t arrive until after HTC announces the phone, but luckily today the AT&T version leaked ahead of release. Expect more details to arrive shortly.
