The Moto X smartphone is one of the most customizable phones available today, but Motorola isn’t stopping just yet. Today the company announced nine new colors and three new accent colors to the MotoMaker program, allowing users complete control when designing their new smartphone.

Just in time for March Madness not only do we have nine new colors for the Moto X, but Motorola also announced clear cases that can also be customized with your school logo. Allowing fans to show their college pride right on their favorite smartphone. With nine new colors smartphone buyers can choose from now over 25 color options and tons of accent colors for the perfect combo.

Putting a collection together of over 40 popular schools, the Moto X College Collection lets buyers get the company’s latest flagship smartphone completely color customized, case included with their school of choice (if available) all for only $399. There’s a little over 40 options, so many popular smaller schools (Wichita St. Shockers anyone?) aren’t available, but we can expect more to arrive soon.

If you happen to be a student, teacher or alum, Motorola is offering a pretty decent discount by registering at motorola.com/college with your valid .edu address. This will get you the completely custom Moto X for only $339.

The Moto X is still available in the usual wood options that are so popular as of late. Including Bamboo, Ebony, Teak, and Walnut, but you’ll need to stick to the regular design if you want to get one branded from the College Collection.

While many Motorola fans are patiently waiting to see or hear more about the upcoming Moto X2, the company is still busy adding more options and accessories to the already available Moto X. For those considering buying the 4.7-inch flagship smartphone, most carriers in the US have already updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, so now could be the perfect time to get the latest from Motorola.
