Users looking to upgrade from the Galaxy S4 to the Galaxy S5, or simply trying to decide if they should purchase the Galaxy S5 or the Galaxy Note 3 will be interested in a new comparison video that offers a closer look at how these three devices compare.

We shared a Galaxy S5 vs Galaxy S4 comparison and a look at the Galaxy S5 vs the Galaxy Note 3 recently, but this video comes outside of the crowded Samsung announcement venue so we can get a closer look at the sizes and designs of each of these Samsung devices.

Romeo White of Mobile-Review shares this video on YouTube with the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Black Edition in hand. The Black Edition is a special Galaxy S4 which most shoppers won’t have on their list, but it is nice to see another S4 comparison on film.

The seven minute Galaxy S5 vs Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy Note 3 video shows the new back design of the Galaxy S5, and how the material compares to the faux leather of the Note 3 and the shiny back of the Galaxy S4. We also get to see the overall size of the devices and the small design changes Samsung made to the Galaxy S5.

The only drawback to this video is that it is in Russian, so it is likely most of our readers will not understand the commentary and description. To know what the reviewer is saying, watch it on YouTube, turn on captions and then select translate captions. The translation and captions are not perfect, but it is a nice touch.

In the video we get a nice look at how the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 stack up to the new Galaxy S5. In addition to the new back panel, there is a closer look at the new camera, flash and pulse reader on the Galaxy S5. White also shows the thickness of the Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy S5 and a small design change to the headphone port.

On the Galaxy S5 the headphone jack area sticks out slightly so that when a user plugs headphones in the headphone plug doers not stick out over the edge to catch on a pocket. The headphones included with the Galaxy S5 feature a volume control and an answer button on them.

While most of this video focuses on the Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy S5, users get a look at the size comparison between the Galaxy Note 3 and the S5 in the middle of the video and at the end.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and is water-resistant thanks to a seal that still allows access to a removable battery and a Micro SD card slot. Users get a 2.5Ghz processor and 16GB or 32GB of storage. There is a 16MP camera on the back with a faster auto focus and other features as well as a 2MP front-facing camera.

I think Samsung made a big mistake by introducing its Galaxy S5 with just little or could say minor changes. I still like my qi enabled Galaxy S4 which is the best phone I have ever had in my life till date. Samsung are making commitment that Galaxy S5 comes with better battery life and also have feature of water resistant. But I don’t like about its minor change in screen size which is just 0.1 more than Galaxy S4.

I know what you mean. I’m eligible for an upgrade now and I’m comtemplating whether I want to get the Note 3 now or wait for the Note 4. I was really expecting more from the GS5. But I’m concerned as to whether or not there won’t be minor updates to the Note 4 as well.
