New Xbox One Bundles Could Save You Some Cash
Microsoft isn’t holding anything back as it aims to move more Xbox One consoles. Joining its digital game bundles are now bundles from the Microsoft Store that include useful accessories and steeply discounted deals on subscriptions to Xbox Live.
The new set of bundles are available at the Microsoft Store, the digital retail arm of the company itself. Each bundle can pretty much act as an all-you-need starter pack for those who haven’t purchased the Xbox One already.
For the users who don’t have an Xbox One and want a ton of games to play there’s the Xbox One Ultimate Bundle. It includes the Xbox One console itself, an extra Xbox One Wireless controller, a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live, a protection plan and copies of Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3. That bundle only costs $799.99. As such, users are saving $69.94.
Users can save $50 with the Xbox One Complete Bundle. It includes the Xbox One itself, a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live, a protection plan and copies of Forza 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome. It’s going for $699.95 right now.
Finally, there’s the Xbox One Play and Charge Bundle. Buyers save $44.98 but only receive the Xbox One itself and an Xbox One Play and Charge Kit that includes a rechargeable battery for the wireless controller. It also includes a protection plan for $599.99.
All told, they’re decent bundles. Of course, users can also save a little money by buying the Titanfall Xbox One Bundle or the Forza 5 Xbox One Bundle for the same price as a launch Xbox One. Those bundles cost $499, saving users the $60 they’d have spent if they purchased a game separately.
