Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Update MIA Despite Roll Outs

Yet another Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has surfaced with a release date though it’s not the elusive Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update that remains missing in action.

Last July, Google announced the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, a replacement for the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update that rolled out alongside the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10 releases. The update was an incremental one and delivered better graphics, a new dial pad, restricted profiles for tablets like the Nexus 7, and better Bluetooth.

Shortly after its debut, Google pushed the update out to its Nexus smartphones and tablets including the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, its aging former flagship.

The Worst Part About the Wait for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus Update

Over the course of 2013, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean landed for a number of big name smartphones including the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and the HTC One. The update also landed for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus on Halloween, the same day that Google announced the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat update.

For whatever reason, one of the biggest Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 updates remains missing in action. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update still hasn’t rolled out. Verizon told us back in December that it was still in its plans but as we get deeper into 2014, the update still has yet to make an appearance.

Unfortunately, it’s a situation that is extremely tough to gauge. We’ve seen other Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates push out in 2014. In fact, Optus, an Australian carrier, recently confirmed that it would be bringing the Android 4.3 update to its Galaxy Nexus users in April, almost a year after the update first debuted.

We’ve also seen Samsung cancel the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update for Vodafone Australia. The carrier did not explain why the company cancelled the update and it means that users are stuck on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Optus’ update should instill a little bit of confidence in those still waiting for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update to arrive but it certainly doesn’t guarantee anything in the future. If and when Verizon does roll out the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update, it will roll out almost a year after the update was first announced.

For many Verizon Galaxy Nexus users, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates delay serves as a reminder of the device’s bungled launch. Former Android head Andy Rubin admitted that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus wasn’t a good experience and this delay just serves as further confirmation of Rubin’s admission.

My friend is working part time and averaging $25000 a month. I’m doing this for 5 days and just got my first paycheck for $6546! I still can’t believe it. I tried it out cause I was curious and now I couldn’t be happier. See this site Jobs29(.com)
