Kindle Fire Sale: Amazon Tablets Starting at $119 at Best Buy

Published

on

Once again, Best Buy has Kindle Fire tablets on sale starting at $119. Buyers can get the entry-level Kindle Fire HD for just $119 for the 8GB model, while the 16GB version is $129.

Furthermore, you can also grab the latest Kindle Fire HDX 7″ slate starting at $199 for the 16GB version, with the 32GB variant priced at $239. The 64GB model is also on sale for $279.

If it’s a larger screen you’re after, then you’re out of luck this time around, as Best Buy didn’t discount the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″ at all, but that’s not to say we’ll never see it discounted again, considering that Amazon and most retail stores are always offering great deals on the Kindle Fire lineup.

This sale will have you saving as much as $40 off of a Kindle Fire tablet, with the 16GB version of the Kindle Fire HD seeing the most savings. Even the tablet with the least savings is still a pretty good deal; the 8GB Kindle Fire HD is only $20 off, but $119 is a good price for a decent tablet.

Obviously, these tablets come with “Special Offers,” meaning that you’ll see ads every now and then, but it’ll still be cheaper than the regular price of any of the tablets. Plus, if you can handle the occasional ad, $119 is a fantastic price for a decent tablet, and it’s pretty much an instant buy considering you’re only paying that much dough for something that you’ll get a ton of use out of if you take advantage of Amazon’s various services regularly.

The Kindle Fire HDX is the newest addition to the Kindle lineup, coming with faster internals and a higher-resolution display, as well as a new customer support feature called MayDay, which allows you to immediately get on the horn with an Amazon customer support rep through your Kindle Fire HDX tablet in case you’re having any troubles.

The Kindle Fire HD and HDX have been discounted several times this year already, and retailers have never been shy about chopping the price of the Amazon tablets. You can usually take advantage of Kindle hardware sales throughout the year, so there’s almost no reason not to wait for a good deal on a Kindle ereader or Kindle Fire tablet.
