GTA 5 Update to Deliver Custom-Made Thievery to All on Friday

Users will be able to make and play custom capture mission in Grand Theft Auto 5, GTA 5 for short, this coming Friday.

GTA 5 developer Rockstar Games announced the release date for the Custom Capture creator this afternoon. Players will be able to create Content, GTA, Hold and Raid jobs and share them with friends. The custom levels will also be available in a sort of library for all to browse.

Like the other custom mode creators that preceded it, Custom Capture jobs won’t be available in the game’s single player experience. Instead, users will have to dive into Grand Theft Auto Online, the massive online multiplayer version of the game, to play them. That shouldn’t be a problem for anyone since Grand Theft Auto Online access is included with every copy of GTA 5.

GTA 5 spring updates

In Capture Jobs users are tasked with battling against other players to take position of their stuff. It’s very similar to Capture The Flag modes in other games except GTA Online players are tasked with capturing goods in Los Santos and Blaine County, which is a huge giant in-game world when compared to other online games with Capture The Flag mode.

Rockstar is celebrating the launch of Custom Capture Jobs by allowing players to earn extra in-game cash and reputation that they can redeem for in-game rewards like cars, houses and other weapons.

Additionally, Rockstar is currently rolling out a title update that rewards users reputation points for rating content, allows players to bribe the police during a crime spree and earn even more in-game money for completing races, parachuting stunts and death matches.

There’s no manual update here. All users will be prompted to download the 1.12 update the moment they load the game on their Xbox 360 or PS3.

Capture mode in GTA 5’s online play has received high marks so far. It’s hard to fathom why the Custom Capture creator wouldn’t enhance this, GTA 5 players have shown over and over again that they’re capable of making game modes that are just as fun as those made by Rockstar.

GTA 5 isn’t yet available on the Xbox One or PS4.
