New iPhone Headphones to Deliver Dramatically Better Sound

This week Apple officially confirmed a new standard for using the lightning port for headphones. As part of the Made for iPhone program Apple introduced information about high-resolution audio over a Lightning cable.

This includes the ability to draw power from the iPhone to power active noise canceling headphones or to use headphone battery power to charge the iPhone.
