Apple iPhone 6 rumors continue to point to two models, a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and a 5.5-inch iPhone 6, with the 5.5-inch model expected to compete with large screen Android smartphones like the 5.5-inch LG G3. And while Apple’s new iPhone remains missing in action but a new video shows us what the larger iPhone 6 could look like next to larger Androids like the LG G3.

As we push deeper into the year towards the fall, we’ve begun to hear a lot about Apple’s plans for 2014. While the company has been extremely quiet in the first half of the year, it’s expected to release a number of new products in the second half ahead of the holiday shopping season. The pipeline is expected to include a new MacBook Air with Retina Display, iWatch, the iPad mini 3 and iPad Air 2, and two brand new iPhone models that are currently dubbed iPhone 6.

iPhone 6 rumors have been prevalent in the first half of the year and they have attempted to detail everything from the iPhone 6’s screen size to its resolution to its processor to its release date. We’ve even seen the iPhone 6’s alleged design leak out numerous times ahead of its debut and today, we’re getting another look at how the iPhone 6 could compare to some of the top smartphones on the market.

A new video from macmixing shows off the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model that we’ve seen emerge numerous times in the past. It also gives us a glimpse at the more mysterious iPhone 6, the 5.5-inch model that’s expected to challenge the larger Android devices on the market.

The video gives us a look at how Apple’s 5.5-inch model could look like next to the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 4-inch iPhone 5s. The device makes the current iPhone look tiny and it’s even much larger than the alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6. We also get to see it next to a few of the top Android smartphones on the market right now.

The 5.5-inch LG G3 is one of the top Android smartphones on the market and a device that will be hitting the United States this summer. It will likely serve as one of the iPhone 6’s biggest competitors. In the video, we get a glimpse at just how big the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could be next to the LG G3. The model is noticeable larger than LG’s flagship while the 4.7-inch model is unsurprisingly smaller.

The LG G3 display is bigger and offers a higher resolution than the iPhone 5s.

We also get a glimpse at the design next to the OnePlus One, a new 5.5-inch Android smartphone that stands as one of the top Android options on the market thanks to a cheap price tag and high-end specifications. The alleged 5.5-inch iPhone 6 mockup, which again is based on rumors, is larger than the OnePlus One but the size difference isn’t as apparent.

Apple’s iPhone 6, its new screen sizes and its redesign are not expected to arrive until September. While release rumors have consistently pointed to staggered release dates for the two iPhone 6 models, there is a chance that Apple will launch them together at the same time. Release date rumors current point to September 19th as the iPhone 6 release date.

The devices are both expected to feature a significant redesign that features metal and a slim form factor, improved screen resolution, a camera that features image stabilization technology, an A8 processor that provides better performance, and two different price points with rumors pointing to $199.99 for the 4.7-inch model and $299 for the 5.5-inch model.

These price points would put the smaller model at the same price point as top Android smartphones and it would put the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model at the same price point as the Galaxy Note 3 and likely, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well.

as an iphone only user and a male I’m ready for the 5.5 screen, I’m going blind looking at the small screen and have been thinking of switching but it looks like the good folks at apple will accommodate me this fall and I can stay a loyal apple customer for the long haul
