With a Nexus 6 release reportedly dead in the water for 2014, the Nexus 5 is going to be sticking around for awhile. And that's not a bad thing. This is one of the premier Android smartphones on the market.

The company's current Nexus flagship delivers a fantastic design along with a high-resolution full HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 8MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, Android 4.4 KitKat, and an extremely cheap price tag.

It also gets updates directly from Google, a perk that doesn't come with many of the top Android smartphones on the market. The Nexus 5 is a device that needs to be on your radar in the month of July.

I will take LG G2 any day over galaxy S5 simply because better battery life, smaller size yet bigger screen, cheaper price and less clumsy UI. Perhaps it just boils down to how susceptible you are to the marketing hypes, as I was myself one of those victims earlier. Unsurprisingly, Samsung was charged for hiring two Chinese firms to write positive reviews on their phones and write negative reviews on rivals, including HTCs (fake reviews indeed). Samsung is the most hyped phones, I think, and customer get less out of his/her investment simply because Samsung has to cover for the charge of advertising cost, simple arithmetic. Instead, HTC and LG have better android products for the amount you pay. My thoughts, compare all of them before committing, and you don’t have to regret.
