New iPhone 6 renders bring iPhone 6 rumors to life and offer consumers an exciting look at how the device could look when it arrives on shelves later this year to replace the iPhone 5s.

As we move further away from WWDC 2014 and closer to the fall, we’re starting to hear and see more iPhone 6 rumors and details emerge from the shadows ahead of the device’s launch.

In the first half of the year, iPhone 6 rumors have been rampant, detailing everything from its design, display, processor, camera and more. In recent weeks, iPhone 6 rumors have focused in on the new iPhone’s release date and on the iPhone 6 design which is expected to differ from the aluminum design found on the iPhone 5s.

iPhone 6 design rumors point to some massive changes to Apple’s iconic smartphone including a thinner design, new curves that include rounded edges, changes to the buttons including a more rounded volume rocker, sapphire material for the display, and a larger footprint overall thanks to an increase in screen size. The iPhone 6 is expected to boast a 4.7-inch display and a 5.5-inch display, the latter of which is in the territory of the Samsung Galaxy Note.

While the iPhone 6 itself hasn’t leaked out yet, we’ve gotten an early glimpse at iPhone 6 design rumors thanks to a steady stream of alleged iPhone 6 model leaks out of China. And while these models do follow rumors, they are said to be approximations rather than exact replicas but they’re likely going to be as good as gets before launch.

That’s what makes these new renders from designer Mark Pelin, courtesy of 9to5Mac, so interesting. Pelin’s renders of the iPhone 6 incorporate rumors but they truly bring them to life and show off what the iPhone 6 could look like in its final form, curves, thinness and all.

These iPhone 6 renders show off what could be something that comes close to the iPhone 6’s final design. It comes with rounded edges, Touch ID on the home button, and the new rounded volume rocker that are all supposed to accompany Apple’s new iPhone to shelves when it arrives sometime this fall to take on top Android smartphones.

Pelin’s renders arrive just a few short days after a new video showed what iOS 8, Apple’s new software, might look like on a larger 4.7-inch display.  For reference, it also shows off what that might look like next to an iPod touch fifth-generation running iOS 8. The video, which incorporates an alleged iPhone 6 model rather than Pelin’s renders, can be seen below.

iOS 8 is confirmed for the fall and new iOS software always accompanies new iPhone hardware to shelves. iPhone 6 release date rumors center around the month of September with the latest rumors pointing to a dual release inside the same month. Sources agree that both devices will, at the very least, be out ahead of the holiday shopping season and September 19th has been thrown around as a possible release date though that, like many iPhone 6 rumors, remains unconfirmed.

Rumors suggest that the iPhone 6 will feature an upgraded rear camera with image stabilization and a brand new A8 processor that will help with performance and battery life. The larger iPhone 6, the 5.5-inch model, is also rumored to feature 128GB of internal storage space. 128GB rumors have swirled around befor so this is far from confirmed.

Analysts believe that while the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 could retain the company’s usual $199.99 starting price, the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could command a price that’s $100 more expensive. Samsung charges $299.99 for its Samsung Galaxy Note which would put the larger iPhone on the same level. iPhone 6 price rumors, like all iPhone 6 rumors, will continue to swirl around as we head deeper into the year and closer to an inevitable iPhone 6 release.
