Verizon's Nokia Lumia Icon is our favorite Windows Phone smartphone and we think it's a device that's worth ruling out before buying into the LG G2.

Unlike the LG G2, the Nokia Lumia Icon is a current flagship and in our opinion, one of the best smartphones on the market. The device has acheived this status thanks to a loaded feature set that includes one of the best cameras money can buy, great audio, great build quality, and Verizon's massive 4G LTE network.

The device is affordable, just $50 through Amazon, and it's a solid alternative to a phone from last year like the LG G2. Trust us on this one.

Actually the Nexus smarphones always DO offer the best hardware. So, you don’t really know what you are talking about. If you look at the gen3 Galaxy Nexus its benchmarks matched or beat the iPhone and Galaxy S model at the time. Same with the Nexus 4, same with the Nexus 5.

Now if you talk about camera or battery, yeah, Google skimps there. But in CPU/GPU/RAM/display, it’s always what the other top tier phones have or BETTER. The 2011 gen3 Nexus was one of the first to have a 720p HD display. So, it would be strange for Google to compromise and go with just another 1080p display this year, when the LG G3 has 1440p.
