A new iPhone 6 concept puts the latest iPhone 6 rumors on display and even offers an early iPhone 6 unboxing well ahead of the new iPhone release that’s rumored for September.
With the iPhone 6 release date fast approaching, consumers are curious about the iPhone 6 design and iPhone 6 specs. And while it will take Apple’s announcement to confirm all of the pertinent details, iPhone 6 rumors have done a pretty good job at painting a vivid picture ahead of Apple’s inevitable launch date.
While the iPhone 6 itself has yet to leak out, designers have taken it upon themselves to put all of the latest iPhone 6 rumors together into one big package. Our good friend Martin Hajek is one of those designers and his iPhone 6 concepts, based on iPhone 6 rumors, offer a stunning and realistic glimpse at the design Apple could be using with its next iPhone.
Today, in partnership with CultofMac, Hajek released a new iPhone 6 concept that shows off these iPhone 6 rumors and even offers an early unboxing complete with packaging materials and Apple’s iconic earbuds. We also get a glimpse at an iBeats headphone concept though this concept isn’t based on any particular rumors.
This iPhone 6 concept incorporates all of the design rumors including a thin frame, Touch ID, rounded edges, a larger display, and Lightning Dock port. Hajek’s concept offers users a look at both a white and black iPhone 6 with a twist. Both models are shown off inside of realistic packaging, complete with barcodes and fine print on the back. The packaging is reminiscent of the box for the iPod.
Hajek’s new iPhone 6 concept is also shown off inside what appears to be an Apple Store, its large screen showing off HealthKit, one of the feature’s that will arrive inside of iOS 8 later on this year. While all of this is done in stunning realism, there’s a good chance that the iPhone 6’s packaging will be different. This is just one designers vision, not Apple’s.
This stunning new iPhone concept arrives just a few days after iPhone 6 release date rumors started to firm up. With iOS 8 rumors pointing to a release in September, we’ve put together a possible iPhone 6 release time line for those that are interested in Apple’s brand new iPhone release.
- iPhone 6 announcement on September 9th.
- iPhone 6 release date on September 19th. (Or September 26th, another Friday in late September.)
- iOS 8 release somewhere between September 9th and September 26th.
The latest iPhone 6 release date rumors suggest that Apple will announce both iPhone 6 models on September 9th but will only release one in September. The larger 5.5-inch iPhone will reportedly arrive later in the year, perhaps in October alongside Apple’s iWatch, iPad Air 2 and the upcoming OS X Yosemite update for Mac.
Apple’s brand new iPhone is expected to feature some significant changes highlighted by the redesign that’s shown off in Hajek’s new concept. In addition to the redesign, the iPhone 6 is rumored to have a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch display, a brand new A8 processor for better performance and battery life, an upgraded rear camera, iOS 8, and more.
The iPhone 6 launch is expected to be followed by an event in October wherein Apple will announce its brand new wearable, currently known as the iWatch. Apple is also rumored to have two new iPads up its sleeve in an iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, and new Mac hardware that could finally see the company slap a Retina Display onto the popular MacBook Air.
With several weeks left to go before Apple’s fall launch events, we should see iPhone 6 and other rumors continue to swirl ahead of Apple’s official announcements.
