Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date to Beat iPhone 6 Plus to Most Buyers

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date in the U.S. is still broadly listed as October, but it’s starting to look like the phablet will beat the iPhone 6 Plus to most consumers.

Despite announcing the Galaxy Note 4 release date a week before the iPhone 6 event, we still don’t know when U.S. carriers like AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile plan to sell the Galaxy Note 4.

Apple arrived a week later and arguably three years late to the big screen revolution that Samsung continues to dominate in, and now it looks like demand for the iPhone 6 Plus outstrips supply by so much that most shoppers won’t be able to buy the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model until the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date arrives to deliver increased competition.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 4 in early September, but like the new Moto X release date that Motorola announced one day later, there is still no concrete date.

One reason for the far off Galaxy Note 4 release date is Apple’s power over carriers and the resources that an iPhone 6 release consumers. Apple already announced sales of four million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units in the first 24 hours and in the days since the delivery times for the larger iPhone 6 Plus continues to slip farther into the future.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date can also consume a lot of resources, with over 10 million units sold in 60 days during the Galaxy Note 3 release last year.

It’s clear that carriers and even retailers like Best Buy and Target are laser focused on the iPhone 6 release date right now, which means we may not see the official Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders or release announced until after September 19th.

Even if it takes that long, there is still a good chance that the Galaxy Note 4 release date will beat the iPhone 6 for many shoppers.

Consumers who order the iPhone 6 Plus today can expect delivery on October 28th from Verizon, November 9th on AT&T and four to six weeks out on Sprint. Apple did not break down how many buyers chose the iPhone 6 Plus, but a combination of demand and supply means widespread availability is not likely until after the Galaxy Note 4 arrives on store shelves.

Even the AT&T iPhone 6 Plus we pre-orders at exactly 12:00 Pacific on September 12th is listed with a delivery after the rumored Galaxy Note 4 release date.

This is great news for Samsung who can count on consumers walking in to a carrier store looking to compare the bigger screen iPhone 6 Plus to the competition. There is  good chance that some consumers will choose to by a Galaxy Note 4 right away, instead of waiting over a month for the iPhone 6 Plus to be in stock.

Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release date for October, but two potential dates are floating around without any word from Samsung. There is a Galaxy Note 4 pre-order on [easyazon_link asin=”B00N9CY4V2″ locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”gbm-ea-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Amazon[/easyazon_link] with an October 3rd release date listed.

A previous report outlined Samsung’s plans for an October 10th, Galaxy Note 4 release date. This came from a dutch publication, Galaxy Club, and there is still no confirmation.

Even though Samsung is keeping the release details close to their chest, there is progress. The Galaxy Note 4 continues to pass roadblocks like passing through FCC and Bluetooth certification, which we traditionally see weeks before a release arrives on carriers.

The iPhone 6 release date arrives at the end of this week, but it looks like Apple may be playing catch up with iPhone 6 Plus stock well after the Galaxy Note 4 release date in October, even if it is not in the first week of the month.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 includes a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, S Pen for writing and interaction and a new and improved 16MP camera. Samsung also delivers an upgraded design with a metal frame and a soft touch back. The Galaxy Note Edge release is expected soon after the Galaxy Note 4 arrives on U.S. carriers.

Stop teasing… Release this bad boy already. Dispite the hype on the other phone… Based on propaganda and media agenda, this phone is the best phone of 2014… Hater have to deal with it. They’ll milk you for 2 generation with 1080p and 720p then on iPhone 7 /7+ 7+ will go QHD and 7 1080p while increasing the price for the herd.

Apple are 2-3 years behind the cult following and media is whats stopping them from being exposed.

How would you know that samsung will have a release date that enables the note 4 to be in the hands of buyers before the Iphone6? You guys are just like Apple! Riding the coat tails of an innovative company like samsung. Maybe you guys are just looking for clicks on your website, but it’s just as dirty as showing up 3 years late throwing around the word innovation! This is at least the 10th articles you guys have put out about absolutely NOTHING!!! Stop it already. Unless maybe you have something intelligent, or original to say! All you guys do is regurgitate the same specs that everyone already knows about, with nothing newsworthy to add to it whatsoever! Lame!!
