Exciting Galaxy Note 4 Release Date Details Arrive

Published

on

New exciting Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date details emerged today as the company’s new Galaxy Note release looks to compete against the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in key markets around the world.

Several weeks ago, on September 3rd, Samsung took the stage in Berlin, Germany and announced a slew of new products including its new Gear S watch, the new Gear VR virtual reality headset, a new Galaxy Note Edge with a curved display, and of course, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the oft-rumored replacement for last year’s Galaxy Note 3.

On stage, Samsung outlined all of the Galaxy Note 4 specs including its 5.7-inch Quad HD display, its brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, its new S Pen, its Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, its new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials, and a whole lot more. At the time, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release for October though it did not provide specifics.

As the weeks have gone on, we’ve seen new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date details emerge including information about Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders, the Galaxy Note 4 price and more. Today, a number of new Galaxy Note 4 release details have emerged, exciting details that outline a number of key release components for one of the year’s biggest smartphone releases.

Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note 4 release date will arrive early in Korea with a release date now set for September 26th. Originally, Samsung planned to release the Galaxy Note 4 in October though the company will now push that date up, likely in an effort to compete against the iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Again, this early release date applies to South Korea. Other markets will remain unchanged, at least for now.

The company also announced that the Galaxy Note 4 release date will hit 140 countries by the end of October. What this means is that most places, including the United States, will get the Galaxy Note 4 before the month is over. Currently, the Galaxy Note 4 release date is set for October 17th with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon all confirming that date.

The United Kingdom is set to release the Galaxy Note 4 on October 10th, a week before the United States. Many other release dates remain unconfirmed though Samsung’s regional arms will likely confirm details as we inch closer to the month of October and the widespread Galaxy Note 4 release.

On top of all of this, the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 is now up for pre-order. T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders allow consumers to buy the device ahead of its release on October 17th. T-Mobile follows in the footsteps of AT&T and Verizon, both of which began taking pre-orders earlier this month. Sprint, another top U.S. carrier, will start taking pre-orders on September 26th.

It’s still not clear if U.S. Cellular, the nation’s fifth largest carrier, will be taking pre-orders ahead of its October 17th Galaxy Note 4 release date.

In the United States, carriers will be charging $299.99 for the Galaxy Note 4 on-contract. That price lines up with the base iPhone 6 Plus model, the 16GB variant that is available on a number of carriers around the world. Those that aren’t looking to sign a contract will be able to sign up with monthly installment plans or buy the Galaxy Note 4 off-contract.

The Galaxy Note 4 off-contract price is extremely steep at some carriers with AT&T charging over $800 for the device without any sort of agreement. This is far more expensive than the Galaxy Note 3 off-contract and it’s going to force consumers to take a long hard look at plans like AT&T Next and Verizon Edge.

Jay so you note 3 works good w/sprint?
I have an old phone w/sprint & was in Las Vegas for the weekend, I couldn’t make calls send picture text the only thing my phone would let me do is text. I’m upgrading in October but I was wondering if Sprint service was crappy. I’m thinking about going to Verizon!

Have a brother on Verizon with an iPhone 5s and he has constant issues with dropped calls. Will call him from a land line and lose him 50% of the time. Same issue with parents and other family members on Verizon with Iphones. Have a Note 3 on Tmobile and rarely experience dropped calls.

Is it really necessary to mention the words Galaxy Note over 27 times in one article. Who writes these articles, idiots?

I was thinking the same thing. Go back and read any article written by Adam Mills and you will notice the same type of shit writing. This guy couldn’t get a job writing Street signs. Complete moron with no skill at all. Time to hire a competent writing staff. Painful to read anything this idiot writes.

Adam cant give updates without keeping every other update in the article. If we are reading new updates we apready know when and where samsung announced it. No need to include that info in every damn article.

I got the note 3 when it first came out. After a lot of persistent complaining about my Wi Fi not working properly and ATT replacing the phone twice they finally admitted that there was a factory defect with the antenna. Fir me all my issues seemed to be unreliable Wi Fi connects
