Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: 7 New Details

Published

on

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date continues to pick up speed as new Galaxy Note 4 release date info has emerged just days ahead of Samsung’s release in the United States and United Kingdom on October 17th.

In early September Samsung took the stage at its Unpacked event and announced a slew of new products including two new Galaxy Note models dubbed Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note 4 will be the true successor to last year’s Galaxy Note 3 and it will go on sale with a number of high-powered features starting in mid-October.

While the Galaxy Note 4 release date has been confirmed for regions all over the world, we’re still seeing new Galaxy Note 4 release details emerge ahead of its respective release dates. In the past few days alone we’ve seen a ton of information land for prospective buyers in the United States and all over the world as Samsung makes its final launch preparations.

U.S. Cellular, the nation’s fifth largest carrier, is finally taking Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders ahead of its confirmed October 17th release date. As expected, the carrier will charge $299.99 off-contract for the new Galaxy Note 4, a price that mirrors the on-contract price at AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless. It will charge around $770 off-contract.

Samsung’s also confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release date for October 17th in India. Second, the company has sent out press invites for an event on October 15th wherein the company will introduce the phone to one of the world’s biggest markets and detail the price tag for the first time. What this means is that this Galaxy Note 4 release will coincide with the release date in the United States and the UK.

The Galaxy Note 4 release date in the U.S. has been extremely active as of late as well and we’ve bumped into a series of new details ahead of the device’s arrival this Friday.

While the Galaxy Note 4 won’t hit shelves until October 17th, it looks like the Galaxy Note 4 release date on some carriers will come early. T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 users report that their devices are on trucks and that the device will land today, October 13th, days ahead of T-Mobile’s street date of October 17th. This isn’t too surprising given that we typically see carriers offer this kind of incentive to buyers that pre-order. AT&T is also expected to ship out its device by October 14th.

Verizon continues to maintain a Galaxy Note 4 shipping date by October 23rd. This is a week after the October 17th release date that it announced in September. Verizon’s customer support is also pointing to that date and its Amazon listing notes a release date of Friday, October 24th. It’s not clear if Verizon will be using October 24th as a release date or if it’s just being cautious. The other four U.S. carriers haven’t budged from October 17th, at least note yet.

It’s also worth noting that Amazon has stopped taking pre-orders for the AT&T Galaxy Note 4, Sprint Galaxy Note 4, and Verizon Galaxy Note 4. The company does suggest that it will have stock available on their respective release dates. Those looking for more information can sign up for more U.S. Galaxy Note 4 info moving forward.

Finally, users on XDA-Developers have put together a list that shows which regions will be getting a Snapdragon 805 tucked inside the Galaxy Note 4 and which regions will be getting Samsung’s Exynos 5433 octo-core processor. It’s an extensive list and it looks like the Exynos chip will be more limited than Qualcomm’s new processor.

The Samsung Galaxy 4 is a powerful smartphone and comes with an array of high octane specifications including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a new S Pen stylus, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, a brand new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials, and a whole lot more.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is a top contender and a device that will be doing battle with the LG G3, Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One, and the all new 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus this holiday season and into next year.

I called about 10 different places today, Verizon stores and private companies that sell Verizon service, and they all are very unclear about the official release date but it looks more and more like Verizon is not putting it out ’til the 23rd/24th, even in stores. The Best Buy closest to me claims to releasing the Verizon version on the 17th but they sell Sprint and At&T too and I’m thinking they are giving me the wrong info. I will certainly calling them on Friday to see but I just put in my preorder to Verizon to make sure I’ll get one by the 24th at least. I’m really hoping they surprise us and ship it out earlier.

Note 4 should not be more than 45K. I am in fact thinking of buying Note 3 as its available for 36K after cash discount + free Sennheiser Head phones worth 2K+ What say?? Note 3 has been a time tested super hit and hard ware almost equals note 4. (Also considering the Card gate controversy of Note 4 to be time tested) So I guess its wise to go for Note 3 at this moment.

I wish US Cellular’s off contract price was only $299 (Off contract). Lol, that would be the only way to get me to switch to them. Author made a typo, that is not the off contract price for US Cellular.
