on

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date imminent in several countries including the United States, we want to take a quick look at everything we currently know about the Galaxy Note 4 release, the release date and some of the other smaller details that prospective buyers are going to want to be aware of as we inch closer.

Samsung’s all new Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive smartphone and one that comes loaded with high-powered specs including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a new S Pen stylus, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, and a brand new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials.

The Galaxy Note 4 is set to replace the Galaxy Note 3 in several regions starting this month including the United States where it will land on the nation’s five largest carriers which includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless. All five of those carriers are currently taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 4 ahead of their respective releases.

The U.S. isn’t the only region that’s getting the Galaxy Note 4 in October though and tons of consumers around the world are gearing up for the Next Big Thing’s arrival. For many, the Galaxy Note 4 release will be easy to navigate. However, for those that haven’t been following along, it has the potential to cause some headaches. And that’s precisely why we want to take a look at the most important things we know, right now, about the Galaxy Note 4.

These details will help buyers in the United States, and around the world, better prepare for the Galaxy Note 4 release that’s expected to hit 140 countries by the end of the month. Keep these in mind as we push towards the arrival of Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone.

Galaxy Note 4 Release Date Delays

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date problems continue to mount for consumers outside of the United States. First, Samsung UK pushed the Galaxy Note 4 release date from October 10th to October 17th. The company cited overwhelming demand as the reason for the delay.

A short time after that Clove UK, a big retailer in the United Kingdom, announced that it was pushing its Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release to October 24th for unspecified reasons. The company was also forced to take down its gold Galaxy Note 4 due to an exclusivity deal that Samsung has in place.

Earlier this week, UK retailer Carphone Warehouse abruptly pushed new Galaxy Note 4 orders to October 27th. Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders will still ship on time but those that placed an order after October 14th won’t get their device until later on this month. It’s still not clear why the retailer pushed the date back though it could have something to do with supply and demand.

Samsung isn’t just having problems in the UK though. Samsung Australia was also forced to postpone its Galaxy Note 4 release date. Originally scheduled for October 29th, the Galaxy Note 4 release is now slated for November 5th. The Galaxy Note 4 is still available for pre-order but it won’t be released until early November. It’s not clear what forced the delay.

It’s clear that Samsung is struggling with the Galaxy Note 4 but up to this point, it doesn’t look like delays have hit any other regions. We’ve heard chatter about manufacturing woes and low stock but consumers should remain optimistic about their Samsung’s official Galaxy Note 4 release date.

Galaxy Note 4 Pre-Orders Arriving Early

If you pre-ordered a Galaxy Note 4 from AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint, there’s a good chance that your device is going to arrive ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date tomorrow. We’ve spoken to a number of Galaxy Note 4 pre-orderers who say that their device has already arrived or that it’s slated to arrive on their doorstep today.

Of course, we’ve also talked to a number of people who say that their Galaxy Note 4 isn’t scheduled to arrive until Friday, so, at the very worst, if you pre-ordered, you’ll probably get your order sometime today or sometime tomorrow. This does not apply to U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders or Verizon Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders.

Those of you who live outside the United States will simply want to keep an eye on your shipment. There’s a good chance that carriers and retailers will ship orders ahead of their estimated shipping time.

Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Release Date

We still can’t get a firm answer from Verizon regarding its Galaxy Note 4 release date so we’ll just leave you with what we know about the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 release date right now.

We know that Verizon Note 4 pre-orders have always mentioned October 23rd. We know that Best Buy’s pre-orders still don’t offer any details about the release date. We know that Amazon’s Verizon Note 4 pre-orders pointed to an arrival a week after AT&T and Sprint. And we also know what Verizon’s customer service is telling its customers.

Note-4-6

Verizon’s customer service have pointed to a potential arrival on October 23rd. At the very least, no customer service committed to an in-store release on October 17th. One customer service agent told us that “it will not be in stores this Friday.” Customer service is generally hit or miss when it comes to release dates but Verizon’s Twitter account is generally reliable and it’s interesting that they’re both saying the same thing.

As we’ve noted, there’s a ton of back and forth going on at XDA-Developers about the release date. Same people are saying October 17th, some are saying October 23rd. We’re not sure what’s what just yet but if we were planning to buy the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 on its release date, we’d simply prepare for tomorrow and next week.

We’re trying to get official word from the carrier but it hasn’t filled in any of the blanks for us. At least not yet.

ahh, i was looking forward to getting my new Samsung Note 4 tomorrow and now i have to wait until the 27th october as Carphone Warehouse has decided to delay their shipments of them till that date. I rang them this morning and they said that they had them in their warehouse but they wouldn’t be shipping them till monday so it would be next monday until they got them out to the shops around the UK. :( I assume Samsung UK didn’t really do their market research too well or expected sales forecast very well if they are worried about not having enough stock.

I preordered in the AT&T store on 10/1. When checking status it was always shown as shipping 10/14 to 10/16. Late in the day on A10/16 I received an email stating the device was back ordered.

I am currently getting the runaround from ATT. They say they can’t give an exact date when the will receive the black N4. I’m now asking for an approximate date. There’s no way a company the magnitude of ATT would sit idly by in the dark, not knowing when a supplier will fulfill an order.
