Samsung Galaxy Note 4: 5 New Details for U.S. Buyers

Published

on

New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 details continue to emerge for U.S. buyers in the days after the Galaxy Note 4 release on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon.

Samsung’s all new Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive smartphone and one that comes loaded with high-powered specs including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a new S Pen stylus, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, and a brand new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials.

The Galaxy Note 4 has replaced the Galaxy Note 3 in several regions this month including the United States where it landed on the nation’s five largest carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless. After a bit of a delay, all five carriers are stocking Samsung’s brand new flagship and the device is now a real competitor for the LG G3, HTC One, and iPhone 6 Plus.

It’s been several days since the Galaxy Note 4 was first released in the United States and we’re still seeing release details trickle out for prospective Galaxy Note 4 buyers in the United States. These details are important for those that are in the hunt for a new smartphone as well as those that are locked in on the Galaxy Note 4 as their new device.

First and foremost, Amazon finally has the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 in stock just a few short days after the device’s arrival. The Verizon Galaxy Note 4 release came late and Amazon, a key U.S. retailer, did not have any stock in on its release day. Now, the retailer is offering the black Verizon Galaxy Note 4 for $299.99 on-contract and $700 off-contract, same as Verizon.

It’s also important to note that Amazon still isn’t shipping the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4, it’s temporarily out of stock, but consumers who are interested can order the device from its online portal. We expect Amazon to start selling the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4 sometime this month, perhaps around the same time as Verizon.

Verizon’s sticking to its Halloween release date for the white Galaxy Note 4 and there’s a chance that that’s when we’ll see that variant show up at retail locations like Amazon and Best Buy. Verizon listed an October 23rd ship by date for the black model and October 23rd served as the device’s formal release date last week.

Best Buy’s Galaxy Note 4 woes continue. The retailer currently has four of the six Galaxy Note 4 variants available at the moment. AT&T’s black Galaxy Note 4 is now sold out online through Best Buy as are the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4 and white Sprint Galaxy Note 4. The black Verizon Galaxy Note 4 is now available in-store only.

It’s also worth noting that Best Buy extended its trade-in deal that allows buyers to trade-in a working smartphone for $200 towards a Galaxy Note 4. We were able to exchange a working HTC One M7 for $200 to put toward a Galaxy Note 4. The deal only lasts November 1st which means that consumers only have a few more days to take advantage of it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 stock has been uneven in the U.S. in the days after its release and it’s still not clear when retailers will see their stock improve. For now, those looking to buy a device will need to keep an eye out as stock fluctuates at certain carriers and retail locations.

These Galaxy Note 4 release problems are not unprecedented though they are a bit surprising given Samsung’s track record. While the Galaxy S3 release ran into some bumps in the road, the company, for the most part, has been able to keep its supply lines churning to keep up with demand. Last year’s Galaxy Note 3 was extremely easy to find and consumers had no trouble picking up a Galaxy S5 when it arrived in April.

We were looking for the galaxy note 4 with snapdragon 805, but in the market available model is exynos 5433,especially in the middle east region. People are totally confused which is with snapdragon set , because same model number is given to exynos set also to confuse people purposely. Why samsung is doing like this??????
