Epic Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Live Action Trailer Arrives

You won’t believe the graphics in the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video that arrives just days ahead of the release. Which is fair because this is the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare live action trailer featuring Taylor Kitsch and Emily Ratajkowski.

Unlike gameplay videos, the live action Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video is more like a trailer for a movie with actors and special effects instead of in-game footage. These types of videos are exciting, and in this case you get an idea of what your character can do, but at the end of the day it’s not the game.

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare release date is Monday November 3rd for pretty much every player who is getting a Day Zero edition. You’ll still see many listings for November 4th, but midnight releases happen at 12:01 am Monday morning (Sunday night) instead of the traditional Monday night, Tuesday morning release timing.

You can watch the two-minute Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare live action trailer below for a teaser of what to expect next week.

The video starts with Taylor Kitsch introducing players to new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare features. This starts with the new exoskeleton. This is part of the tech that lets gamers jump higher, punch harder and survive drops that weren’t possible in older Call of Duty games. There’s also a jetpack of sorts built-in so you can jump and move in the air, similar to Destiny and Titanfall.

After you suit up, you quickly learn that you can punch through doors, and identify enemies with a special grenade that identifies threats. This is a handy grenade that essentially replaces a radar mode.

From there, jump out a 10-15 story window to land on a moving truck. Your new gloves stick the to side so you can climb along the side of the truck while it drives down the highway. This Tom Cruise Mission Impossible style tech is a welcome addition to the game and should lead to some interesting kill points.

Next up you crash into a market where you wake up to model Emily Ratajkowski asking what you are doing. Only to discover you are about to make out with a goat.

That doesn’t last long before a drone swarm comes in to ruin your festive outing with a local goat. Drones play a big part in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game and it looks like swarms are one thing you’ll definitely want to avoid.

After a jump to safety you shoot through a skylight, which is something you can do in the game, and knock out an enemy. Next up you rip the door off a car and take out two enemies with a well placed throw after using it as a shield. Hopefully this is something you can do in the game with your exoskeleton powers.

A Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare live action trailer wouldn’t be complete without a hoverbike chase through alleys and across a bridge that explodes hurtling you towards certain death — until you use a grappling hook to reach safety once again and o on to dive into a street full of the enemy before the live action trailer stops.

Although it uses real actors and there is no Kevin Spacey, this is a fun summary of the new skills and some of the in-game Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare features you can expect next week.
