After months of waiting through leaks and rumors today it’s finally available. Google’s brand new Nexus 9 release date has finally arrived right on time, today, November 3rd and it’s available from multiple outlets for those interested.

Yesterday we confirmed the Google Play Store had stock available, shipping in 1-2 days, meaning the release had finally kicked off. However, the actual Nexus 9 release date was scheduled for today, November 3rd, and as expected we’re seeing it in stock from Google, Best Buy, and more will be available soon.

Google’s tablet is the first device to run the brand new Android 5.0 Lollipop software update delivering a brand new look and feel to Android, and it’s now available. Google revealed the Nexus slate back on October 15th, opened pre-orders two days later, and now the brand new tablet can be yours.

As we mentioned above, the Nexus 9 is now available to purchase from the Google Play Store, with shipping estimated to start in 1-2 business days. However, if you don’t feel like waiting it’s also available now from Best Buy online, and in select Best Buy stores.

When Google announced the Nexus 9 they confirmed it would be available from Best Buy, Walmart, Office Max and Depot, Staples, Amazon, and a few other outlets. So far we’ve yet to see stock arrive on most of those retailers shelves or online, but Best Buy does have it now.

The Nexus 9 is available from Best Buy stores right now for in-store pickup. Meaning you can head into your nearest store and buy Google’s latest tablet right now. No waiting, no shipping, nothing. It’s available on-line with “in store pickup” as an option, and at least four near my location have both the black and white 16 and 32GB models in stock.

There’s no telling just how many Best Buy stores have, and they’re selling out fast, so your mileage may vary regarding stock and availability. A quick look at Walmart.com gave us no results, but Office Max and Depot both have the tablet online, but listed as sold out. We’re also expecting Amazon orders to start shipping today, with many Prime members getting overnight or 2-day delivery.

The Nexus 9 is officially here, and it’s worth checking out. For more details on both the Nexus 9 and the new Nexus 6, check out the link below.

Users can grab one today for $399 for the 16GB model in black or white, or $479 for the 32GB option in the same colors. A 4G LTE and Sand color option will both be available later this month.

The Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch 2048 x 1536 HD display, a powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 64-bit processor with 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, and a brushed aluminum bezel around a sleek soft-touch matte design.
