Google’s brand new Nexus 9 tablet was only released to the public yesterday, November 3rd, but the Nexus 9 deals have already started to surface. The HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet is available today, Tuesday November 4th, at 50% off for one day only. This is the first deal you’ll be seeing for the next 9 weeks from HTC every Tuesday morning starting at 9AM PT, 12 ET. Instead of getting deals on Black Friday, HTC will offer one every Tuesday for the next 9 weeks.

The Nexus 9 was announced in mid October after months of rumors, and went up for pre-order almost immediately. While many eager buyers probably snagged the new tablet yesterday from Best Buy, the Google Play Store, or somewhere else, those who didn’t are in for a huge treat today. It’s 50% off for one day, and you can get it now for $199.

If you pre-ordered or bought the Nexus 9 yesterday, on the initial release date, you’re probably quite upset. We get it. I bought one too, and paid the full $479 asking price for the 32GB model. However, if you didn’t buy one yet now is the perfect time.

HTC is going to help consumers crank out their holiday shopping list before Black Friday. Beginning tomorrow and every Tuesday for the next 9 weeks, HTC will be featuring a “Hot Deal” at https://s.htc.com/HTCHotDeals.

As you can see above, every Tuesday at 9AM you can expect a stellar deal to appear on HTC’s new website. The company has big hopes with this campaign, so you’ll want to watch it closely and follow them over on Twitter as well.

So what’s the big deal? Today, November 4th, the first deal is 50% off the brand new Nexus 9 tablet. This is just crazy. Google’s impressive new 8.9-inch tablet running the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop is $399, or $479 for the 16 and 32GB versions. However, HTC has it for just $199 today for the 16GB model, but in very limited quantities.

Don’t worry about supply though. After the initial stock at 50% runs out (as quantities will be extremely limited) HTC will give everyone who buys the new Nexus 9 tablet $50 off. Meaning instead of $399 you’ll pay $349.

The second part of this deal also extends to the 32GB version regularly priced at $479. All those who order by 9PM PT Tuesday November 4th will get it for only $429.

This is a huge Nexus 9 deal just one day after the official release date, and something we’ve never seen before. Early buyers will be upset, but all those who waited a few days for reviews to arrive will be extremely pleased to get this nice little discount.
