Nexus 6 Release Continues for US Buyers

Published

on

The Motorola-made Google Nexus 6 smartphone is finally becoming more readily available to buyers in the United States. An actual Nexus 6 release date was never formally announced, as Google is allowing each of the five major carriers to release the new flagship smartphone throughout the month. And this week two more options have arrived.

The impressive Nexus 6 was announced back on October 15th along with the Nexus 9 tablet, a Nexus Player, and the completely redesigned and improved Android 5.0 Lollipop software update. The release has been slow from carriers, and this week US Cellular joined three other carriers, and now Motorola.com has both colors in stock again.

Those looking to get a Nexus 6 have probably experienced a few problems trying to find the always out of stock and hard to find smartphone. It’s available now from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and this week also from US Cellular, making Verizon the only carrier without a release date. More stock arrived today, so read on for more details.

This week the Nexus 6 went up for sale from US Cellular in both the 32GB and 64GB option (only T-Mobile had the 64GB before) and they’re also offering the white color variant. All other carriers stateside only have the blue Nexus 6, for whatever reason.

The Nexus 6 release hasn’t been as smooth as many expected. Pre-orders sold out in minutes, stock has been depleted for weeks on end, and Google’s been trying to add more to the Google Play Store every Wednesday or Thursday for weeks giving prospective buyers a chance to get their new flagship smartphone.

If you are still trying to get your hands on Google and Motorola’s new Nexus 6, Motorola.com has more stock as of this morning. Offering both the Blue and White option in both 32 and 64GB of storage. We’re seeing the 64GB option go in and out of stock, but the 32GB is still readily available as we speak. So you better act fast.

As you can see above, Motorola.com has both colors available for those interested. Previously only the Google Play Store had the white color option, but now it’s available from US Cellular and the Motorola online store.
