We typically see new Call of Duty release dates arrive in the fall. This means places the release in time for the busy holiday shopping season and it’s served gaming companies well even in years where there is no new console.

Every single Call of Duty release date is in October or November. Combined with the start of a big teaser trailer, E3 2015 appearance and common sense lets us drill down a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 release date between October 20th and November 24th.

You’ll need to wait for the official announcement, but plan on playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in this range of dates — with a midnight release likely in the cards as well. It helps that Treyarch confirmed the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 release date is set for 2015.

On April 26th we will learn more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 or Call of Duty 2015. Activision confirms, “the world reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is set for Sunday, April 26.”

In the short posting last week the publisher did hint that we aren’t done with clues and early information ahead of the Call of Duty 2015 reveal. Activision states, “With that in mind, you never know when and where new intel might spring up, so remain vigilant.”, and then lists the Call of Duty Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

If you want to be the first to see teasers, you need to check out the Call of Duty accounts ahead of the official reveal later this month.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PS3 & Xbox 360 MIA?

We are hearing some reports that the Xbox One and PS4 Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 release will be the only ones gamers can count on or at least the only ones that Treyarch will handle.

On YouTube Sony uploaded a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 trailer with PS4 in the header, but no PS3 mention, as spotted by Charlie Intel. The video above also outlines why Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 may skip over the older consoles.

If there is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3, expect that another studio will handle it. This is according to an industry insider. This move would allow Treyarch to focus on delivering the best experience on PS4 and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies

A new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 teaser on Snapchat continues with the story of testing on human subjects and it might mean that we are looking at a new version of zombies for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

This is not confirmed by any means, but the Call of Duty Snapchats might reveal a lot more about the game than we thought on first watch.

Where will the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 setting take us? What time will the 2015 Call of Duty release take place in? We hope to learn more on April 26th, but until then we have some clues. According to a game description on Call of Duty website, here’s what you can expect.

There you have it, a futuristic setting for the new Call of Duty game complete with robotics and a “new breed” of soldier. This seems to tie into the Call of Duty Snapchat teasers.
