The original Moto G didn't have 4G LTE, and later another version came out with a micro-SD card slot for expandable storage and 4G LTE, but for a higher price point.
So far all signs are pointing to all versions of the 3rd Gen Moto G in 2015 to have 4G LTE. And instead, users will get to choose from more storage and an extra 1GB of RAM for a slightly higher price point. This means we can expect the unlocked model to be sold on MotoMaker.com with customization options to work with AT&T and T-Mobile, and other GSM carriers, and likely Verizon will launch some version of the Moto G as well, just as they did the original. We're not sure what the company and parter carriers have planned yet, but we'll know all the details soon.
