One area that has always been a struggle for Google's Nexus smartphones is the camera. Even the Nexus 6 and its 13 megapixel camera that featured optical image stabilization still wasn't nearly as good as the iPhone, Galaxy S5, or anything else released that year. It was decent, but could be better, and this year it will be.

This year Google and LG have reportedly put in a lot of effort into the camera, and it will be the same sensor found on the impressive LG G4, only 13 megapixels and not 16 megapixels. That's ok though, because it's a bigger sensor than last year and will have a fast f/1.8 aperture. This will make it fast, perform great in low light, focus quicker, and be an overall better experience.

With a fast laser auto-focus, image stabilization and the F/1.8 aperture this should be hands-down the best Nexus camera to date.
