How to Remove Zagg InvisibleShield Glass

We show you in the two-minute video below how to remove the Zagg InvisibleShield Glass screen protector from an iPhone 6. You can use this same guide to remove it from any phone or tablet that you applied a InvisibleShield Glass protector on.

All you need to do to get started is to peel up a corner of the screen protector. Assuming you aligned it properly and it is not sticking off the curve, this will take a little effort.

Start by trying to peel up a corner slowly with your fingernail. Make sure you don’t use too much pressure and ram the edge of the glass screen protector under your fingernail. Trust us, that hurts.

If you have trouble getting it started, you can slide a small razor blade between the screen protector and the device. Make sure you are sliding it in completely flat so you don’t scratch your iPhone screen while you do this.

Once you get it started, slowly pull up so that you aren’t bending the glass too much. It should release easily, but make sure you go slow so you don’t bend it too much and break the glass.

If you need an InvisibleShield replacement, you need to contact Zagg. If you did not already register your product, you will need to do that at this time, including where you purchased it. You will then need to find that order listed in your account and request a replacement. You must enter a credit or debit card to cover shipping. You will get the new protector shortly and a return envelope. You must return the old one within 60 days or Zagg will charge you the full price.

I wouldn’t personally spend the money that Zagg change for there protectors – Yes they do have a nice product and good customer service but they don’t offer a full edge to edge screen protector for the iPhone 6 – In fact the only company I have found that does is this one here – https://screenprotectors.co.uk/shop/iphone/iphone-6-curved-screen-tempered-glass-screen-protector/

I have a glass screen protector that I really like but I noticed recently that it has a crack. The crack doesn’t bother me, but I wonder if I should replace it anyway. Is my iPad screen more vulnerable if the glass screen protector is cracked?

the crack will spread Nancy, but if it doesn’t bother you why worry, won’t hurt your phone. They do charge 10 bucks shipping and handling for your replacement though. I just did mine, was pretty easy following these instructions and the installation instructions included with the replacement.
