A collection of new alleged Samsung Galaxy S6 details emerged today teasing prospective buyers with potential Galaxy S6 specs and accessories ahead of its presumed launch date in early 2015.

Samsung still isn’t talking about the Galaxy S6 release which means that interested consumers must continue to rely on leaks and rumors to piece together the Galaxy S6 launch, Galaxy S6 release date and Galaxy S6 specs ahead of its arrival. Today, a new set of Galaxy S6 rumors point to a number of new and potentially important release details including bits about its specs and its accessories.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 specs sheet is shaping up ahead of its arrival and we continue to see bits and pieces unearthed. According to recent reports, Samsung’s expected to put a new processor inside the Galaxy S6 though there is some confusion as to whether the company will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810, its own Exynos 7 octo-core chip set or both.

Samsung Galaxy S6 - Exciting Tech 2015

A new report from ETNews suggests that the company is looking to put more Exynos chips inside of this year’s flagship, a move that would obviously shrink the reach of Qualcomm’s chip. While nothing is confirmed, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 chip has seemingly been benchmarked showing off its power ahead of the Galaxy S6’s launch date.

TechTastic recently discovered a GeekBench benchmark for an unspecified device that’s thought to be a Galaxy S6 variant. What’s also of note is that the benchmark shows off the presence of Android 5.0 Lollipop and 3GB of RAM, specs that would likely be reserved for a flagship model like the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Galaxy S6 rumors have pointed to the inclusion of 3GB of RAM and a toned down version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Samsung will reportedly scale its TouchWiz user interface down to enhance performance on its next Galaxy S model.

In addition to those details, a report from Polish site Android.com outlines a number of potential Galaxy S6 accessories. We’ve seen rumors point to the arrival of an extensive list of Galaxy S6 accessories though this new information suggests that Samsung might be working hard to deliver a unique set of cases for the Galaxy S6.

The rumors indicate that Samsung’s working on at least three Samsung Galaxy S6 cases that could do more than just protect the phone. The report outlines a potential case that adds a secondary e-ink screen for those that love to read. It also details a case that could add camera features and another that could be an extension of S Health and help monitor blood sugar levels.

It also suggests that the company is hard at work on various sports-related accessories that could tie in with the company’s S Health initiative that took a huge leap with last year’s Galaxy S5 software and the company’s brand new wearables. Samsung is expected to announce a new round smartwatch alongside the Galaxy S6, a device that will likely compete against Apple’s new Apple Watch.

None of this is confirmed though Galaxy S6 rumors are starting to firm up ahead of the device’s arrival so much so that carriers are starting to tease the Galaxy S6 release well ahead of its announcement date.

A recent report from Korean publication ETNews suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will come with a 20MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization. Galaxy S6 rumors have gone back and forth between a 16MP and 20MP sensor though signs are starting to point to the larger sensor.

Galaxy S6 rumors also point to a collection of high-powered specifications including a souped up Quad HD display, Exynos 64-bit processor, a new design that employs premium materials perhaps aluminum or glass, wireless charging, and a release on all five major carriers in the United States which includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon.

The AT&T model recently showed up in a User Agent Profile string showcasing Quad HD resolution. While the UA Prof does not confirm the arrival of the Galaxy S6, the fact that the model number matches the Galaxy S6 model numbers that have leaked out numerous times in recent weeks makes it increasingly likely that AT&T will once again be on board with Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S smartphone.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 launch date is currently rumored for March 2nd at MWC 2015 with a Galaxy S6 release date reportedly coming two to three weeks earlier than last year. Last year’s Galaxy S5 arrived in mid-April several weeks after it was announced at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain.
