Mophie Galaxy S6 Release Date

Mophie announced that the company will, “offer the only battery charging case for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at launch.” This comes as part of Samsung’s design program that lets companies partner to design to the official specifications and design ahead of the announcement. This allows Mophie to prepare for a Mophie Galaxy S6 case release date that arrives in April as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge release date hits carriers in the U.S.

Mophie Galaxy S6 Price

The Mophie Galaxy S6 case and Mophie Galaxy S6 Edge case are coming in April and we already know what they will cost. The Mophie Galaxy S6 case price is set at $99.99, just like the Galaxy S6 Edge version. If you plan to buy at a carrier location and you get an employee discount you might be able to save on the purchase price.

Mophie Galaxy S6 Details

This Mophie Galaxy S6 case is officially the Juice Pack for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. This includes a 3,300mAh battery that will let users get 100% more battery life than the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge alone.

Mophie includes an Impact Isolation System in the Mophie Galaxy S6 case. This can protect the phone from drops and it is the same technology that saved our iPhone 6 from a chest-high drop to a sidewalk. This internal suspension system helps keep the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge safe from drops.

You can plug in and charge the Mophie case and the Galaxy S6, plus you can sync it to your computer while in the case. The Galaxy S6 will charge first and then the case so the phone gets the priority. You can still use Quick Charge that can top off the Galaxy S6 battery fast when plugged in. It’s not clear fi Wireless charging will work with this case on, but it definitely will not charge the Mophie case. Users can turn the battery power on and off with a switch on the back.

The Mophie Galaxy S6 case includes a mute switch, according to the press release, but we don’t know where this is located. Based on a photo from Android Headlines users can also expect a charging dock that works with the Galaxy S6 Mophie case.
