No Crossover, No Release for Older Consoles

Elder Scrolls Online will not be coming to the PS3 or to the Xbox 360. The game was developed for current generation consoles and it's clear that there won't be a future release for the last-generation systems. Those who want to play the game must upgrade to an Xbox One, PS4 or play via a PC or Mac.

In addition, the team behind the game has confirmed that PS4 players, PC players and Xbox One players will be relegated to separate servers. Here's the company's response to a question about cross-console gameplay:

No, each platform will have its own megaserver. PC players will continue to play with PC players, PS4 players will play with other PS4 players, and Xbox One players will be with Xbox One players.

So, if you want to play with friends and family, you'll need to buy the game for the same console. We don't expect this to change in the future.
