Its been several months since Apple announced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the two best selling smartphones that feature a new design and larger displays that help put them on par with the Android flagships that arrived in 2014 and the Android flagships that have launched in 2015.

Now that we’re months out from the release, it hasn’t been surprising to see iPhone 6s rumors start swirling around. iPhone 6s rumors were virtually non-existent early in the year but as we’ve made our way to WWDC and the summer, we’ve seen them pick up a whole head of steam.

In the past two weeks alone, we’ve seen rumors hint at the iPhone 6s specs and some of the biggest changes that will supposedly come with Apple’s next flagship phone. We’ve also heard some tales about the iPhone 6s release date and how it might come a little earlier than usual this year. We’ve heard similar things about another top Android flagship as well.

Naturally, consumers in the United States and around the world have started to take an interest in Apple’s next iPhone model, a successor or successors for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Rumors haven’t firmed up just yet but that doesn’t mean that we haven’t set our expectations and today, in response to a bombardment of questions from friends and readers and family, we want to take a look at a few things that we expect from the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s release.

Apple isn't talking about the iPhone 6s just yet but that doesn't mean that we don't already have some solid leads on what to expect from it. iPhone 6s rumors have been adament about the arrival of two brand new phones, as opposed to one, and that's something you can take to the bank.

Current iPhone 6s rumors point to the arrival of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and a 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus. They do not, however, point to the arrival of a 4-inch iPhone 6s model.

At this point, you can count on two models to replace the popular iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. These two phones did enough to establish themselves as top contenders, something that the iPhone 5c failed to do after its release.
