The consensus from industry insiders seems to be that virtual reality gaming is the way of the future. Forget having to stay in a seat and play a game on your large television, in the future platform makers want users to be able to look around and see their game world around them like it's real. Sony stunned absolutely everyone when it originally unveiled Project Morpheus, their play in the virtual reality space. Read: PS4's Project Morpheus Release Coming in 2016 Project Morpheus is a device that users wear on their head. Containing a screen, speakers and a gyroscope, Morpheus renders the game on the screen in a way in which people feel like they are actually inside of their games. Users control their game using two motion controllers. Valve, Facebook and Microsoft have headsets of their own coming, but none are as specifically gaming and user focused as Project Morpheus. | ||||||
