As devices get older they improve and become cheaper. That much has always been true, but with this console generation its happening on an accelerated timetable. Hammered during the 2013 holiday season, Microsoft slashed the price on the Xbox One last fall to just $349. Today there are Xbox Ones priced at $349, $399 and $499 with a $50 promotional code at Microsoft's own retail stores. With the release of the 1TB Xbox One, shoppers have the option to get an Xbox One that's cheaper than the PS4 with the same storage, or get more storage for the same price. Sony has to cut the price of the PS4 at E3 2015 or at least prove that its competing. Luckily there are rumors of a refreshed PS4 in the works. | ||||||
