iPhone 6s Plus rumors have pointed to a design that's similar to the all-metal design that Apple developed for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Of course, this being an "S" model, there are likely to be some design tweaks and that's exactly what iPhone 6s Plus rumors in June suggest.

According to Kuo's sources, the iPhone 6s Plus could come a design that's both thicker and stronger than the iPhone 6 Plus.

Kuo, who accurately predicted many iPhone 6 features, says that Apple will use a stronger aluminum in the iPhone 6s Plus. This isn't the first time we've heard this rumor. And while Kuo's been correct in the past, he's also been wrong.

So what would this mean for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus? Well, the company's Apple Watch Sport is made of 7000 series aluminum. It's 60% stronger than traditional aluminum and less dense than stainless steel. And after a month with the Apple Watch Sport, the device shows no signs of wear and tear. That's big.

Kuo's information also points to some changes to the form factor. He claims that the iPhone 6s will be 0.2 millimeters thicker than the iPhone 6 and that it will also be wider and taller than the current model. The increased height and width would be only 0.15 millimeters.

As we've pointed out, the door for change is wide open but that doesn't mean that it will come with this year's iPhone models.
