The iPhone 6 Plus comes with an excellent rear camera though its front-facing camera is not as good as the front-facing cameras on some Android competitors. Devices like the Galaxy S6 have evolved front-facing cameras that offer features like the option to take a wide-selfie in a mode similar to panorama.

If iOS 9 code is any indication though, the front-facing camera on the iPhone 6s Plus could be improved from last year's sensor.

iOS developer Hamza Sood recently discovered lines of code in the iOS 9 beta that point to major FaceTime camera upgrades on the iPhone 6s. He claims that the new software includes the potential for an upgrade to 1080P resolution, 240FPS slow motion, panoramic capture and flash.

None of these are confirmed of course but we know that the cameras are a huge part of any smartphone. We also know that iPhone 6s rumors have centered on big improvements to the iPhone camera.

This could be another feature that helps drive people to the iPhone 6s Plus and not the iPhone 6 Plus.
