iOS 9 Public Beta Release in July

At WWDC 2015, Apple revealed plans to release a public iOS 9 beta sometime in July. The company hasn't elaborated on that vague release window but there's reason to believe that the public iOS 9 beta release could be imminent.

iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3 both went through developer and public beta releases though the public beta updates didn't emerge until the release of the third beta for developers.

Next week's iOS 9 beta update will likely be iOS 9 beta 3 which means that there is a very good chance that it, along with Apple Music, will accompany Apple's first public iOS 9 beta release. That's a theory, not confirmed, but we think it holds up pretty well.

One or another, Apple will likely keep its promise to those in the Beta Software Program and release the public iOS 9 beta later on this month. So, if you're taking part, keep an eye out for the release in the days ahead.

THE APPLE MUSIC IS STUPID ON THE IPOD TOUCH IT RUNS ON WIFI SO STREAMING IS OUT. SHUFFLING BY GENRE IS NOT THERE ANY MORE. IT PUTS TOO MUCH FOCUS ON ONLINE STREAM THAN PLAYIN YOUR OWN LOADED MUSIC. SUCKS BIG TIME.
