Galaxy Note 5 vs. Galaxy S6: 5 Things We Learned in June
S Pen & Galaxy Note 5 Spec Comparison
While the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus might not come with an S Pen, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature a new and improved S Pen. This would help it to stand out in a crowded Galaxy lineup. It's not clear what these improvements might entail though we imagine that Samsung will tweak TouchWiz in some way. June rumors pointed to an auto-eject feature that will allow the device to push the S Pen out on its own though those rumors are based on a patent filing. We've also heard that Samsung is testing a 5.89-inch display size for the Galaxy Note 5. This is larger than the Galaxy Note 4's 5.7-inch display and much larger than the 5.1-inch Quad HD displays found on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Galaxy Note 5 rumors continue to point to one of two screen resolutions. Quad HD, which would match the Galaxy S6, and Ultra HD which would be a step up. Samsung's reportedly still in testing which means it could be weeks before we get the final word. Galaxy Note 5 rumors also continue to point to a new and improved Exynos 7 processor though without benchmarks, it's hard to say how it will compare to the Exynos 7 found in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
