Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 design is solid. It features both metal and a nice plastic back. It also comes with a microSD card slot and a removable battery that allows you to easily swap it out. The Galaxy Note 5 probably won't feature the same design.

Rumors aside, Samsung always makes tweaks to its designs. Devices like the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 might have looked the same but they weren't identical. With the competition as fierce as it is, and with Samsung's change to a premium design language on the Galaxy S6, don't expect the Galaxy Note 5 design to be identical to the Galaxy Note 4's.

A new video claims to show off what could be the Galaxy Note 5 design. It looks, more or less, like a larger version of the Galaxy S6. This matches previous leaks that hinted at a shift to a Galaxy S6-style design for the Galaxy Note series.

The design in the video doesn't appear to have a USB Type-C port, a feature that's been rumored for the Galaxy Note 5. USB Type-C would allow for faster data transfers, something that would be crucial for a media-intensive device like the Galaxy Note 5.
