Minecraft Story Mode Won't Launch as a Complete Game

Telltale has made a reputation for creating very appealing smaller titles. Telltale has a very interesting way of getting those small titles out to users.

The developer doesn’t make $60 games like the ones you purchase at GameStop and Best Buy. Instead, it breaks down games into multiple episodes. Episode 1 introduces the game mechanics and introduces gamers to the characters involved. Each of the episodes have their own smaller story arcs, making them much easier to consume instead of a single title.

Minecraft Story Mode will be spread out across five different episodes. We don’t know how long it’ll take someone to complete a single episode. Users will have the option to buy the episodes they are most interested in or stop buying after the first. It’s hard to imagine that Telltale wouldn’t make a complete version available for one flat fee alongside the individual episodes.
