How to Sign Up for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta starts in August, but if you want to play you need to take action now so that you are signed up for the Black Ops 3 beta on PS4, Xbox One and PC. We’ll walk through the essential information that you need to know so that you are ready to play as soon as the Black Ops 3 beta download is available.
You need to pre-order the new Call of Duty for Black Ops 3 beta access. After you pre-order you will get a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code or key that grants you access to the Xbox One, PS4 or PC download when it starts.

We just learned that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta release date is on August 19th for the PS4. We don’t know the Black Ops 3 beta start time, or when the Xbox One and PC versions will start, but expect at least a few days of exclusive access on the PS4.
Participating retailers include a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta key when you pre-order the game. We will learn about the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Collector’s Edition later this week if you want to wait to pre-order.
What You Need for the Black Ops 3 Beta
[contextly_sidebar id=”cCMOpaVfUhKcMqLduD2orKb4AsaJjmRS”]No matter which console you plan to play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta on you will need a pre-order from a participating retailer. This includes digital editions on PSN, Steam or the Xbox Store and all versions sold at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart.
If you order online you will get a Black Ops 3 beta code by email. If you order in store it may appear on your receipt or come by email depending on the retailer.
It is very important to know that it can take up to 72 hours for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code to arrive. Amazon delivered a Black Ops 3 beta code in less than 18 hours, but Best Buy has yet to deliver after the same amount of time and some users report delays of over 72 hours.
There are several deals available that offer up to $22 off Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and include beta access.
You will need the 13-digit Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code and an Internet connection. You will likely need 20 to 50GB of free space on your Xbox One or PS4 to install in August.
How to Sign Up for the Black Ops 3 Beta
1. With your Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code in hand go to the Black Ops 3 page and click on Redeem Code.
2. Log in with Activision or with Facebook. In any method you will need to make sure that you have a free Activision or Call of Duty account.
3. Link your console to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta. To do this you will need to sign in to your PSN, Xbox Live or PC account.
4. Enter the 13 digit Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code.
5. If Prompted select the account you want to use the beta on. You will see this if you have a PSN, Xbox Live and PC account linked.
6. Select the Region and click Redeem again.
After this process you are now signed up for the Call of Duty beta. You will need to wait for more details on how to download the Call of Duty beta. We may not see this information arrive until mid-August. You will likely find a second PS4 Black Ops 3 beta download code in your inbox near the official release.
