10 Important Galaxy Note 5 vs. Galaxy S6 Details
Galaxy Note 5 Battery Life
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge feature solid battery life but we could see the Galaxy Note 5 take things to another level. This alone might make it worth the wait. We don't have stats or comparisons but we do have some rumors that hint at a larger battery and a new processor. Let's start with the processor. SamMobile, a site that's been pretty accurate over the years with Galaxy rumors, believes that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a brand new Exynos 7422 CPU. It will reportedly combine "the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem on a single chip." We don't have any benchmarks but Samsung's always working to improve the efficiency of its chips so we could see a boost in performance. The other big change could be the size of the battery. Early reports hint at a gigantic 4,100 mAh battery. To put that into perspective for you buyers out there, the Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 3,220 mAh battery while the Galaxy S6 comes with a 2,550 battery. We wouldn't put all your eggs into one basket but the company's made it clear that battery life is going to be a focus of future phones so don't count out a surprising move here to help separate it from the Galaxy S series of devices.
