Galaxy Note 5 Launch Date Could Come Early

Galaxy Note 5 rumors are one thing, the Galaxy Note 5 launch date is another. If two new reports are to be believed the Galaxy Note 5 launch date could be a lot closer than we anticipated.

The Wall Street Journal and Reuters are both saying that the Galaxy Note 5 launch will take place in August rather than in September at IFA. Both reports mention the iPhone as one of the reasons why Samsung will apparently move the launch up. 

If Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 5 in August, it will put some space between Apple and its presumed iPhone 6s Plus launch in September alongside iOS 9. Whether or not this strategy will work with iPhone 6s Plus rumors already flying around is up for debate. 

What's important to know is that we might be only a few weeks away from being able to physically compare the real deal, and not credible rumors, to the iPhone 6 Plus. Just another reason why we think you're better off waiting a few weeks to buy one or the other.
