Published

on

We saw a number of new and exciting smartphones emerge in the first half of the year and we’re poised to see several more arrive in time for the holidays. With those in mind, we take a look at the most exciting phones for fall 2015, a list that includes the Galaxy Note 5, iPhone 6s, and more.

The first half of 2015 was full of intriguing smartphone rumors but also intriguing smartphone releases. Top manufacturers like Samsung, LG and HTC released several flagship phones onto shelves replacing some of the big names that arrived on carriers last year.

HTC kicked things off with its HTC One M9 release. After that, Samsung released its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge variants, challengers for the HTC One M9 and two devices that remain at the top of the massive Android heap of smartphones. After those arrived, LG replaced its LG G3 with a brand new LG G4 and it’s one of the best phones you can buy right now. We aren’t done yet though.

While we’ve seen some significant devices arrive in 2015, another wave of options is expected to arrive just after the summer in time for the holiday shopping season in the United States and elsewhere. Of these, only one is confirmed, but we’re confident that the other six devices are on the way.

We’re confident because we’ve seen Galaxy Note 5 rumors emerge at breakneck speed. We’re confident because Apple releases a new iPhone every year. And we’re confident because Nexus rumors have emerged virtually non-stop since the company’s Android M announcement in May.

The second half of the year figures to be extremely busy and it’s expected to boast some extremely tempting devices. Today, we want to take a look the seven that have caught our attention in recent weeks. These are the most exciting phones for the Fall of 2015.

OnePlus 2

Let's start with the phone that's already been confirmed.

Last year, Chinese startup OnePlus released one of the most exciting Android phones in some time. That device was, and is, the OnePlus One. It's a powerful, affordable device, and one that many Android enthusiasts love.

So, it should come as no surprise that OnePlus is back in 2015 with another flagship smartphone appropriately called the OnePlus Two

We've seen a number of OnePlus Two rumors swirl around in recent days though we still have a few days to go before OnePlus reveals its plans. Like its predecessor, it's expected to pack a huge punch and that makes it one of the most exciting devices yet to come in 2015.

If you're into Android devices and you want a ton of firepower without burning a hole in your pocket, you'll want to keep your eyes on this phone.
