The iPhone 6 Plus and its A8 processor provide outstanding performance. That said, the iPhone 6s Plus could deliver improvements. 

Apple will reportedly shift to a new Qualcomm chip to double LTE speeds on the iPhone 6s Plus. This is an exciting feature given how much we, and many others, use cellular data on the iPhone. LTE is, and will be, an integral part of the iPhone experience for years to come.

We haven't seen any benchmarks emerge yet but Apple always makes adjustments that lead to better performance in areas like gaming and multitasking. We'd expect the iPhone 6s Plus to be more powerful than last year's model. Technology has matured over the past year and that will lead to some advantages.
