13 Reasons Why You’ll Love the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Published

on

We’re getting closer to the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ releases but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge if you’re in the hunt for a new device. We’ve been using the Galaxy S6 Edge since its release and there’s still a whole lot to love about Samsung’s current flagship.

In February, Samsung took to the stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain to showcase two new smartphones that took over flagship duties from the Galaxy S5. Those two devices are the well-known Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, two of the best smartphones around.

The Galaxy S6 Edge is a curved variant of the Galaxy S6. Like the company’s Galaxy Note Edge, it comes with a bent display. Unlike the Galaxy Note Edge, its display features curves that wrap around both edges of the phone as opposed to one. It’s an impressive device though it’s now sharing the spotlight with some new and upcoming devices.

We’re starting to hear about Samsung’s plans for the fall and they supposedly include a new Galaxy Note 5 to replace the Galaxy Note 4 and a Galaxy S6 Edge+, a massive version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. There are plenty of reasons to wait for these devices but that doesn’t mean you should take your eyes off the Galaxy S6 Edge.

If you can, you’ll want to avoid getting tunnel vision as we approach the fall. There are some outstanding devices on shelves right now and the Galaxy S6 Edge is near the top of the list of devices that you absolutely must check out if you’re looking to buy a new phone.

We’ve been using the Galaxy S6 Edge for several months now and there is still a lot to love about the curved Galaxy S6 flagship. With that in mind, we want to take a look at some of the things we love about the Galaxy S6 Edge. Keep these reasons in mind as we approach Samsung’s big announcements.

The Edge

The Edge

Let's start with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's most visible feature. That curved display that runs down both sides of the phone. While some might not find it necessary, we absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's display.

First off, it looks really cool. If you've never seen this phone close-up or in person, do yourself a favor and do so. This is one of the nicest looking phones around and the curved display is one of the biggest reasons for that.

One of the other nice things about the Galaxy S6 Edge's is that it, and it curved display, feel awesome in the hand. That and the overall "cool" factor of the display are two things that we absolutely love about the Galaxy S6 Edge. This is a phone that you'll want to show off to friends and family and to the public if you must.
