The Moto G is Motorola's most successful smartphone ever released, believe it or not. And that's thanks to the incredibly wallet-friendly $179 price point. The last two years they've stuck to that same price, and we're expecting the same $179 Moto G 3rd Gen here in 2015.

However, a better version with double the storge and double the RAM, the 16GB and 2GB RAM option could ring in at $199 or $229 instead, but we'll have to wait and see.

And finally, the release date. Motorola has promised they'll stick to the same annual release cycle, which had many thinking it would arrive in September. But with July 28th being the announcement, most likely it will be available the same day, or within the first few weeks of August.

We can expect the new Moto G, a new Moto X, and possibly more to all be announced on the 28th, and released within a few weeks. Stay tuned for more details, as we'll be live in New York City to share all the information as it becomes available.
