The HTC One M9 is already running the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and recently the company and partner carriers delivered the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop update with new features, bug fixes, and more.

Thanks to Android 5.1 Lollipop the HTC One M9 runs great, and performs extremely smooth. While I'm not a fan of HTC Sense UI that covers stock Android, it's a favorite among users when compared to Samsung's TouchWiz or LG's changes.

Then, to make things even better the One M9 has a "Theme" app that lets owners completely change the look and feel of the device unlike ever before. Themes change icons look and feel, colors, background colors, settings menus and more. Essentially delivering an entirely new look, feel, and experience to the phone. There's even a stock Android 5.1 Lollipop "Material" theme for those who'd like the phone to feel like a stock Android device.
