As the iPhone 5s gets older, it's probably going to start missing out on features. For instance, iOS 8's Continuity features only came to iPhone 5 and higher skipping the iPhone 4s completely. Or, in the case of the iPhone 5s, it's not compatible with Apple's Apple Pay platform because it lacks the proper hardware capabilities. This is going to start becoming a trend as the device grows in age. There's a chance that it won't get the full iOS 9 update and there's a very good chance that its iOS 10 update will be limited. $99 is a pretty hefty investment into a phone that's bound to start decling in the next two years. Performance also tends to decline as hardware becomes outdated. The iPhone 5s' processor should be able to handle iOS 9 but there's a very good chance that some upcoming updates will hamper performance. Keep all of this in mind if you're planning to keep your next phone for awhile. | ||||||||

Only valid point was apple pay. The camera might not be as nice but will the average user notice? If the 2011 iPhone 4s is going to get iOS 9 than the 5s is going to be around for a long time.
The 5s is a good phone as long as you get a good price on it.

This guys keeps mentioning alternatives that aren’t Apple. It makes me sure that this guy is just an Android guy who’s creating hype for people to go and buy phones with his favorite OS. Don’t say the features are bad then proceed to say that Android is better because of better cameras or size. It’s unfair to make those types of comparisons since Android and iOS are handled so differently. It’ll only make people waste their time trying to figure out the labyrinth that is Android.
