So far there are still a lot of things we don't know about the Note 5, and one of those is the price. That being said, based off of similar devices and prices from previous years we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

If the device is anything like last year it will debut for around $799, but then again if there are multiple different storage configurations we could have a $699 32GB option, and go up from there. There are no solid details on a price yet, so we'll have to wait for the rumored August 13th date before we know more.

That said, the 32GB Nexus 6 is $649 outright, or $699 for the 64GB version. Most retailers have it down to $599, and carriers are asking $199 with a new 2-year contract. The Galaxy Note 5 however, will almost certainly be $299 with a new 2-year contract, which is one more thing to consider.

All said and done, the Galaxy Note 5 will almost surely be the better device here, but everyone has different needs or wants. If you don't need the latest and greatest, an S-Pen, or a fingerprint scanner and don't want to wait, grab the awesome Nexus 6 today. If you're on the fence, hopefully we know everything there is to know soon enough.
